Nadia!

I've been racking my brain to think of the perfect new call-name for Miss Faith. Although Faith is a lovely name, it's just not for me, so I wanted to think of something new.

After a while, I finally stumbled across the name Nadia. I remember it from Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, which is nice because I'm a Miyazaki fan. Also, it means "hope" in Russian. Not a far cry from Faith, huh!

Kim, the breeder, tried the name out on Faith to see how she'd react, and she seemed to like it! She cocked her head, and followed Kim with her eyes. Since she responded to it so well, that's what we're sticking with!

So, introducing Nadia! 

The beautiful Faith is mine!

Earlier today a friend of the breeder dropped by to check out my apartment, make sure everything is all good before they could officially allow me one of the pups.

Well, shortly thereafter the breeder called and said we're good to go! Faith is officially mine and will be home in four weeks!

I couldn't be more excited! Faith is sweet, and quite cuddly. The breeder said she will be perfect as a therapy dog, which is just wonderful. I can't wait to have my baby home.

Now to think of her new call-name. I gotta do it quick, they're learning their names already! Smart pups!

A little over a month to go!

I am starting this page as an efficient way to keep those who are interested updated in the life of my new pup!
Currently, I am about five weeks away from getting her. She's coming from the wonderful breeder at http://riverbendcardigans.com/!

I am still working on finding the right name for her, but we still don't know which one of the girls from the litter I'll be getting, so it'll be easier once I know her personality. (We'll find out in about a week! I can't wait)

So keep checking back for updates, especially once she's home. I'll try to post plenty of pictures and videos regularly! <3
